Firelight's work

The approach we take in all our work is community-driven systems change
What we do

At Firelight, we support communities to achieve their priorities for their children and youth. Over 25 years, they have seen lasting results in:

  • ending child marriage
  • girls’ empowerment
  • education and learning
  • early childhood development
  • child rights and protection
  • better income for youth and families
How we do it

We cluster our grantee-partners in groups of 4 to 12 community-based organizations so that they can share knowledge and work together towards a common goal. The approach we take in all of our work is community-driven systems change.
